Angles

LI: identify and construct right, acute and obtuse angle and begin to appreciate the degree, unit of measurement of angle to also know the degree value of angles that are simple fractions of a whole turn and to also know that the angle at a point is 360°
This week we learned about angles. We learned about acute angles, obtuse angles, right angles, straight angles, and a reflex angle. A acute angle is a angle that is between 0 - 90 degrees. The obtuse angle is completely different. The angle is 90 - 180 degrees. A right angle is exactly 90 degrees. Same with the straight angle, it is just line. The straight angle is exactly 180 degrees. The reflex angle is a angle that is 180 - 360 degrees. We have also played a game called the Alien Angle. We ge given and angle and have to estimate.

  1. Kia Ora Chris,
I enjoyed looking at all the items you found that can represent an angle. I liked how you explained what the degree of an angle is in your blurb. I also thought that using maths words like "estimate" was a good idea to write. Keep up the good work!
