Tane Mahuta
LI: to take a virtual tour of Aotearoa
For this activity we took a virtual tour of Tane Mahuta. The Tane Mahuta is a giant kauri tree, and is in fact the tallest tree in New Zealand. For this digital tour we did three activities. For the first activity we had to try to find the difference in height between the Tane Mahuta (Tallest tree in New Zealand) and the Sequoia Semperviren (Tallest tree in the world), and we had to explain the strategy on how we got the answer. For the second activity we had to make a DLO (Digital Learning Object) on the history of the Tane Mahuta. For the last activity, we had to write down some information and facts about the Tane Mahuta.
