Origami Planes
LI: to use statistical and scientific methods to study the effect of wing span and area on lift
This week we started making Origami Planes. There were two types of plane we can make. One was the standard plane and the other one was a different plane. The first one was a bit taller then the second one. We had to pick one of the plane models to study. I picked the second plane model. Our task was to make a diagram show the parts of the origami plane. We also had to measure the parts of the plane. We measured the fuselage length, fuselage width, wingspan, wing area, and wing length.
