Wingspan Data
LI: to use statistical and scientific methods to study the effects of the wingspan and area on lift
We made graphs to study the lift to see if the wingspan and distance differs. The type of graph we made was a scatter chart. We first threw our planes and had to measure the distance. We also needed the measurements as data so we can use it in our graph. We also have made some mistakes like how all our planes are all pretty consistent but our 14cm plane is way off, so we might have thrown it too hard. We also made a paper graph, and drew a trend-line. A trend-line is a line that shows how high or low the results are. Our interpretation of the graph is that the bigger the wingspan the further the plane goes.
