Hauora Poster

LI: to create an information poster that explains the four walls of Hauora

For Inquiry we made an Information poster on Hauora explaining all the four walls of Hauora. Hauora is a Maori belief that is special to New Zealand. The four walls are the four different aspects of your wellbeing. They are Taha Tinana (Physical Wellbeing), Taha Hinengaro (Mental/Emotional Wellbeing), Taha Whanau (Social Wellbeing), Taha Wairua (Spiritual Wellbeing).

That's are really cool DLO that explains information and the meaning about the 4 walls. I liked how you used images to help you explain more in your DLO. I have
also created a DLO that looks like this but a but different to yours. Next time you do a blog post like this, instead of writing what Hauora means in your Blurb you should write it on you DLO.

Which one of the 4 walls you really like? / Why?

    Great Job Chris!

  2. Thank you Liletina,

Thank you for taking the time to read my post, and comment on it. Thank you for all the nice compliments. My favourite wall is the Taha Wairua, because its about my beliefs, religion, purpose in life, and much more.

Again thank you for the comment!

  3. Greetings Chris!

Your information poster about the 4 walls of Hauora looks really interesting. The icons you have used are really easy to understand. What will happen if one of the walls fall, will the other be affected or stay standing? Next time you could give a description about what Hauora is in detail.

    Keep up the great work!

    1. Thank you Fau for taking the time read and comment on my post. I actually did an experiment, using 4 pieces of paper and we dropped one and the rest fell down with it. So we think if one of the 4 walls aren't secure or have collapsed, the rest will fall with it. All 4 walls need to be standing to be whole.

That is a really informative poster. I really liked the way you have added the main information about the four walls. The pictures in your poster make it look even very attractive. I think your blurb completes your blog post with all the information written on Hauora. Which wall do you think is the most significant one and why? Next time try to keep the first word in the learning intention capital. I am looking forward to read your other blogs!
    Keep up the great work!

    1. Thank you Sakshi,

Thank you for reading & commenting on my blog post. I think the Spiritual Wall is the most significant, because I feel like the Spiritual Wall helps and supports the other walls to stand strong and tall.

Again thank you for the comment!
