LI: to learn about music and arts
For one of our Distance Learning activities we had to make a DLO (Digital Learning Object) on a composer. But that composer had to be a person who shaped the music we had today, and listen to. I picked Ludwig van Beethoven because I have heard one of his pieces of music before. In this DLO (Digital Learning Object) we had to write down who was the composer we picked, five interesting facts about them, and lastly pick a picture that relates to one of the composers pieces of music.

This activity was about Paying it Forward. So we do something for others. One of the activities were about Captain Tom Moore, who was a Soldier fighting for his country, but did something amazing this month. He ran 100 laps around his garden to raise money for NHS (National Health Service). His goal was 1000 pounds. But after his last lap, he raised over 28.1 million pounds. He did this not only for the NHS, but to raise hope and joy during this crisis we have right now.

Leonard Tuscott

LI: to do a research challenge
For one of our Distance Learning Challenges, we could choose our own research challenge on a site with a bunch of artefacts, that all have a story behind it. The artefact I chose was a hankerchief from Egypt, which was a gift from a soldier who gave it as a gift to his family, when he was in Egypt for war. The story behind this hankerchief was about a man named Leonard Tuscott. I made an Infographic about Leonard Tuscott, using the 5 Ws, and H.

I also wrote down the Maori War Cry, so they could connect with the poster as well as in a way motivated.

LI: to make an animation
For ANZAC myself, Fau, and Sulia have made the growth of a poppy animation, time lapsed. We did a poppy because it symbolises he soldiers that went and fought in the war, and for their country. It is a flower we have to remember all the people in the war. It took some time to finish it, but we were happy with how the animation turned out. We had gotten to pick three activities out of the bunch of ANZAC activities we had, and we picked this one. It was really fun to do.
