LI: to follow a recipe to make hotcakes

This week for Food Tech we were going to make hotcakes, with Mrs Heka at Tamaki College. We followed Mrs Hekas instructions to make the hotcakes. We first started off by getting the equipment we needed to make the hotcakes. We then first put a cup of flour, and a tablespoon of sugar in a big bowl. We then put a cup of milk and an egg in medium bowl. We then put margarine in the small bowl. We also took a banana and put it into a bowl, then we mashed the bananas. We then mixed the milk and egg together using a whisk, and then poured it into the flour and sugar. We mixed it together to make the batter for the hotcakes. After mixing the batter we put mash bananas into the batter and mixed it together. After we got some berries to make the berry sauce and we put 4 tables spoon of water in the pot with the berries. We then cooked the berries and mashed them. We then turned on the stove and poured the batter on to the pan and we started cooking the hotcakes. After cooking them we put vanilla ice cream on the hotcakes, and we then poured berry sauce on.
