LI: to use the information you gained from the text to create a DLO
For Reading we made a DLO using the information we gained from the text we were reading. The text we were reading was "Rise Up: The Story of the Polynesian Panthers". In this text it was talking about the times where the Polynesian Panthers were acting and protesting. In our DLO we explained who the Polynesian Panthers were, and the result of them acting, protesting, educating and doing more for the Polynesian culture. We also then wrote the background or the history of why the Polynesian Panthers came about.
