Food Technology (Week 4)

LI: to make vege noodles




This week for Food Technology at Tamaki College we were making vege noodles, with Mr Tuipulofu. We first started off by getting the equipment needed to make the noodles. We first started off by pouring three cups of water into a big pot, and boiling the water. We then put the noodles into the water to cook them. While waiting for the noodles to cook, we started slicing and cutting up the vegetables. The vegetables in the noodles we were going to make were carrots, onions, broccoli, green beans, and garlic. After cooking the noodles, we put them in a colander to let the water soak out. We then started frying up the vegetables. After mixing and frying the vegetables we added the noodles in with the veges. When mixing the noodles with the veges, we added 2 table spoons of soy sauce, and oyster sauce. We also added 1 teaspoon of brown sugar. We then mixed it thoroughly and we were done.
