Research on Roald Dahl

I learned many things about Roald Dahl. He didn’t write children books until he had children. He also was a Hurricane fighter pilot in World War II and his parents are Norwegian.
How I learned was I went to different websites and tried to find facts about Roald Dahl. There were a lot of great facts about Roald Dahl.
  1. He was born on 13 September 1916 in Llandaff South Wales United Kingdom.
  2. Sadly Roald Dahl passed away on 23 of November 1990, Oxford, United Kingdom
  3. He was a Hurricane fighter pilot in World War ll.
  4. His parents are Norwegian.
  5. When Roald Dahl was four his father died.
  6. He did not start writing children's book until he had kids.
  7. He had two steel hips and six operations on his spine after World War ll.
  8. Roald Dahl was a British novelist and a poet.
  9. Roald Dahl liked chocolate, but not chocolate cake or chocolate ice cream and other chocolate food.
  10. Roald Dahl’s grave was in St Peter and St Paul churchyard in Great Missenden.
  11. Roald Dahl’s book had sold over 250 million books worldwide
  12. Roald Dahl wrote 51 books.
  13. Roald Dahl was badly injured in 1940 when he crash landed in his Gloster Gladiator biplane in an Egyptian desert. He fractured his skull broke his nose and passed out.  
  14. Roald Dahl was named after a famous norwegian polar explorer named Roald Amunds
