Negative Numbers

LI: to add and subtract negative numbers

For Maths we were learning about Negative Numbers. A negative number is a number that is less than zero. We learnt how to add and subtract negative numbers, by practising and doing a bunch of Negative Number equations. On our DLO (Digital Learning Object) it was about what a Negative Number is, and we explained how we solve negative numbers, using the knowledge we know, and finding out the main information from the question itself.

  1. Hi Chris,
I liked the way on how you made your explanation about the negative numbers so simple. Negative Numbers sound really complex, was it confusing when you first approached adding and subtracting negative numbers? Maybe next time try summarising it to make it easier for the reader.

    Good job!

  2. Thank you Lukah,

Thank you for taking the time to read, and comment on my post. Thank you for your compliments as well. When I first came up to Negative Numbers, it was pretty hard and confusing. But when I did skill drills, and learnt more about the Negative Numbers, its gotten easier for me to do.

    Thank you Lukah!
