LI: to research about Natural Disasters
To practice our research skills, as well as our literacy and inquiry we've done this task. This task was about researching a Natural Disaster, and in this DLO we had to inform people what that natural disaster was, how to stay protected, and emergency services that would help in that certain situation. The natural disaster I was researching was an Earthquake, which is the surface of the earth shaking and rumbling. In this task we also had to add what we would do next time if there was an earthquake, and earthquakes that happened in Aotearoa.

ReplyDeleteI really enjoyed reading your DLO about Earthquakes. There was lots of interesting information and I think it's very important to know what to do in an Earthquake. I have never experienced an earthquake but am sure it would be quite frightening. I didn't know there was an earthquake support line, and this is a very useful fact to know.
