Emotive Language

LI: to write informative but emotive paragraphs.
This week we learned about emotive and informative. Emotive language is normally in a persuasive speech, as well as the informative language. Emotive language is there to let the audience of reader feel what the teller is saying. So the tiger killed the prey, then an emotive one would be "The stealthy tiger quickly killed the baby deer unwittingly". So when you hear that, the audience or reader would feel sorry, or sad for the baby deer. In that sentence I also added a adjective which was stealthy, and a adverb which was quickly, and baby deer which was a noun. Informative is when a speech has a lot of information on their statement.

  1. Greetings Chris,
I like the way you added a poster about emotive language. I also like the way you explained what you did in your blurb. Did you find it easy to create the poster about emotive language?
    Amazing Work!
