Whakatauki

LI: to learn the language Te Reo Maori

This week is Maori Language Week so we did a task for Maori Language Week. Our task was to pick a "Whakatauki" and explain the meaning of it. A Whakatauki is a proverb which is a piece of advice said in a kind of metaphor. The whakatauki I did was "In a withered tree a flower blooms". Which means whenever you are in a dark place there is always light and hope.
