LI: to identify the purpose of narratives and also to identify the underlying morals/themes/explanations in myths, legends, and fairytales.
This week is the last week of myths from around the world. This time I did Mahishasura and Durga from India. I had to tell the lessons in the story of Mahishasura and Durga. I also told my questions about Mahishasura and Durga. I also did my Reading Notes whoch helps me understand the story. I used specific reading strategies, on specific times. Like, I used prediction before reading the text or book. Then during reading I could use Making Connection. Then after reading I could use summarising.
