Dream Job
LI: to complete the Summer Learning Journey
This task is from the Summer Learning Journey. This years topic for the Summer Learning Journey is Change - makers. The task was to find a family member or a friend and ask them their dream job. Then we had to try to find six ways to support them. This task was based off of the Silver Ferns. They are competing in the first every Netball National Cup and each player had to prove that they were good enough. They had to sacrifice many things, but their family, friends, coaches and teachers supported them throughout their journey. My little sister wants to be a Doctor.

Hi Chris!
ReplyDeleteThose will be pretty helpful to help your little sister on becoming a doctor. I wish that I had thought of some of those! What is YOUR dream job?
Looking forward to your response,
Riiana
Kia Ora Chris ,
ReplyDeleteI’m Dani, one of the blog commenters for the Kaikohekohe cluster for the Summer Learning Journey. I have heard some great things about the students at Panmure Bridge School so I thought I would jump on and check out some blog posts.
Wow, what an awesome DLO you have created to show the ways you would support your sister to become a doctor. I think positively is a great way to support someone because sometimes when you are struggling with something you start to feel down so having a big brother who can help motivate you would be cool. Have you thought about what your dream job would be? My dream job is to be a teacher so I went to university and now I have just finished my first year as a teacher in Auckland.
As it is the holiday period many of the Summer Learning Journey team are currently away from work and are spending some time with their friends and family. This means that you would get many encouraging comments over this time. We want you to keep blogging and we will comment on as many of your posts as we can when everyone is back at work!
Keep the blogging up!
Blog ya later,
Dani

Hello Chris! This is a really creative poster, and I appreciate the neat layout. You're a great older sibling to look up to, especially if you are helping support your sister with her dream. I love all the ideas, but helping her study sounds very encouraging. She'd definitely need someone who can help her with that. Do you have a dream job? Great work!
ReplyDeleteHi Chris,
ReplyDeleteI really like the info-graphic that you have created on ways to support your little sister being a doctor. You sound like a great older brother. I also think that family would be a big help to people trying to achieve their dreams. Their help would definitely be a good help. What job would you like to have when you are older?
