Wise Words
LI: to complete the Summer Learning Journey.
This task is from the Summer Learning Journey. This years topic for the Summer Learning Journey is Change - makers. The task was to ask a role model to ask them to share one piece of wisdom (advice). The task was based of of Sir Āpirana Ngata and Dame Whina Cooper who were both influential leaders who fought for Māori rights. I asked my Mum to give me a piece of advice because she is a very hard worker.

Hello Chris! You're doing great with the Summer Learning Journey. What your mom said is very inspirational, my mom always says things like this to encourage and motivate me. Personally, I look up to my mom a lot. Do you? Good job!
ReplyDeleteKia ora Chris! How are you doing? It’s a little sunny outside, I can see the blue sky behind the clouds! Did you get up to anything exciting today?
ReplyDeleteThank you for a lovely blog post! I love how you asked your Mum for advice. I’m sure she’s really pleased you did. It’s really important to also look in our own families and communities for local heroes and role models. There’s a lot of fantastic people just around the corner from us! I really appreciate how you’ve sent such a strong, positive message by using your Mum’s Words of Wisdom. A strong work ethic and determination will take you anywhere you want to go! Ka pai on your thoughtfulness!
Keep up the great blogging!
Ngā mihi,
