Fabulous Ferns

LI: to learn about the Ferns
This week for one of the Summer Learning Journey activities. One of the most common plants in New Zealand is the fern. It is a symbol for New Zealand. You can also find pictures on sport teams uniform that have the word or the fern on it. The activity was to find three sport teams that has the word fern in it. We also had to put in the uniform. I like the Silver Ferns the best because it is simple but also cool.

  1. Good morning Chris

You are doing so well keeping up with your blogging!

I also like the Silver Ferns’ uniform. If you could change one this about any of these uniforms what would it be and why? I would change the Silver ferns’ uniform to have shorts because I fall over all the time when running.

Just a reminder, when you include awesome images like these be sure to picture reference (information) the site that you got them from. We want to make sure that we are leaving a positive digital footprint and crediting those that took the photos. If you don’t know how to do that, this link will be of help: https://docs.google.com/presentation/d/1VKjkMGwBrk2YI6Vtmg91OAQljr_T3ZSV6YZtu6MWFNM/edit

Thanks for having me read your blog,
    Izzy

  3. Hi Chris,
Great job on completing this activity! The Silver Ferns also have the biggest fern on their uniform which is probably why it looks so cool! Do you have any ferns around your house?

  4. Greetings Chris,

What an outstanding blog post seen from you. It's good to see you focusing on your learning during these summer holidays. I did this activity too. It was fun. Did you enjoy doing this task? Why? The DLO that you have created for this activity is great. When I first clicked on this blog post the first thing I saw was an amazing google drawing that was created by you. You have chosen great teams. I am sure that I chose exactly the same teams as you.

    NICE:)
