Tane Mahuta Walk

LI: to talk about Tane Mahuta
This week for the Summer Learning Journey we had to talk about why we would like to go to Tane Mahuta. I would like to go because I would want to see how tall it is, but also be able to explore the forest around it. It looks like a great place to walk around and explore.

  1. Kia ora Chris,

I am so glad to see that you have completed so many SLJ activities already! Thank you for sharing with me why you want to visit Tane Mahuta. I think that it would be an awesome place to visit.

I would want to visit Tane Mahuta because of the amazing history of it. I would also like to see how tall it looks in real life. Can you imagine what it would look like standing at the bottom of it?

    Keep up the amazing blogging!

    Talk soon,

    Sophie

  2. Hi Chris,
Great job on completing this activity! I like how you talked about how you would explore the forest around Tane Mahuta, I bet that would be an amazing adventure! Just make sure to spray and scrub your shoes before you go in or you might spread Kauri die back, the reserve as already been closed to help save the trees!

  3. Greetings Chris,

What an outstanding blog post seen from you. It's good to see you focusing on your learning during these summer holidays. I did this activity too. It was fun. Did you enjoy doing this task? Why? The image of the Tane Mahuta looks great. It's great to hear that you want to visit the Tane Mahuta, because I'd like to do that too. Your reasons are clear and great. If you were to choose to go with someone to the Tane Mahuta from the SLJ team who would it be and why?

    NICE:)
