LI: to talk about Tane Mahuta
This week for the Summer Learning Journey we had to talk about why we would like to go to Tane Mahuta. I would like to go because I would want to see how tall it is, but also be able to explore the forest around it. It looks like a great place to walk around and explore.

I would want to visit Tane Mahuta because of the amazing history of it. I would also like to see how tall it looks in real life. Can you imagine what it would look like standing at the bottom of it?

ReplyDeleteGreat job on completing this activity! I like how you talked about how you would explore the forest around Tane Mahuta, I bet that would be an amazing adventure! Just make sure to spray and scrub your shoes before you go in or you might spread Kauri die back, the reserve as already been closed to help save the trees!
