Superpowers

I learned that in New Zealand we have a native bat. But in Australia there is the biggest bat in the world. The bat is called "Flying Fox". The wingspan (size of wings) of the flying fox is six feet or two metres which is bigger than the average person. Their "superpower" is that they have great hearing. So for this activity I had to pick what superpower I could have. A superpower I would love to have is super speed. It is because I can always arrive on time, or I could travel around the earth with my speed.

    Hey there Chris it's Billy here again from the Summer Learning Journey team. Thank you for working so hard and completing the entire lot of activities. It's so impressive! You still have over two weeks remaining in your holidays too.

    Super speed would be an awesome superpower to have. You could sleep in right until the last minute and then race to school or work faster than you can blink. It would be fun to travel to different places too. I think I would enjoy seeing my family and friends whenever I wanted without having to drive or travel or sit in traffic.

    What would be your second choice for a superpower?

    Hi Chris,
    Great job on completing this activity! I liked how you gave some interesting reasons for wanting super speed, like arriving at school on time and the ability to travel around the earth fast. Although super speed is a really cool power, if you could have two, which other power would you choose?

    Hello Chris,

    Well done for completing this task. I am glad to see you posting these SLJ activities. Did you enjoy finishing this activity? Why? I did this activity too. It was very fun to complete. It is great to hear that you want speed as your superpower. Speed would be a great thing to have as a superpower, because if you were late to school and you had no car to take you school you would've just used your speed to get to school quickly.

    Hello Chris! Your superpower sounds very interesting and helpful. I love exploring and would like to travel all around the world, so this would be very useful to get me places faster. I like how you included that you would use to be always on time, I think other people would want to have that ability. What else could you use super speed for? Keep it up!
